Adam,?

Great video, superior than a?detailed paper instruction.
Any beginner can made by himself.
Dozen of builders are making this simple receiver in Japan.

Easier than the MRX-40, QST magazine introduced decades ago,?
the simple receiver give us again something we have been forgotten in QRP spirits.

Jim,

It depends on the load capacitor of the crystal and the mode. The normal load cap is 20 pF, and if you want to receive SSB, you will need to pick two caps to oscillate on the exact marked frequency. If you receive CW, you will need to oscillate a bit off to give you right tone pitch. In my case, I used 39 and 68 to give 700 Hz lower than 7010 crystal with 20 pF load capacitor.

Thanks,
Adam
