Re: What is CPK-3?
I did a field test. Even with 30cm tiny whip antenna, MW stations can be heard, in low volume. SW is better. FM is great. I have decided to add the antenna in the kit. Great news for all worldwide

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Hi Mike, It is a modern radio chip. It can pick up several stations here even with a whip antenna of 30cm. Thanks, Adam

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Great project Adam! For an easier tuning, I would use a multi-turn potentiometer. Of course, this involves other costs. ?n mie., 29 nov. 2023 la 05:19, Adam Rong <rongxh@...> a scris:

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Jim, See this chart I put together. Overload happens for strong stations. If you are really serious, add SMA attenuator of -20dB. Thanks, Adam

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Hi Adam, What is the total frequency range covered? Is it one continuous band or is band switching required? Is mode switching required? Can the receiver handle direct input from a full size antenna

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Larry, It is great idea to use it for kids. You will need to solder SOP16. The manual will be available when you receive them. Thanks, Adam

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
Adam, have you written any assembly manual for this yet? I just placed an order for three. I plan on giving two away to my grandkids. I am looking forward to building them.

Re: CPK-3 FM Hi-Fi
A short wave ham radio antenna will be good to cover FM, MW and SW bands. The design concept is to treat band switch as coarse tuning. You really don¡¯t have to care about the frequency or band, you
