13TR: 6 kits left before EOL
开云体育Guys, I have decided to reduce SKU to focus on key kit products. I have 6 13TR kits (1 is ready, 5 to prepare) left before EOL. You will enjoy the classic circuit based on the design of VK3YE's Knobless Wonder. Also, CPK-2 (DC receiver based on NE602 and LM386) will be EOL soon as well.
Thanks, Adam |
Re: How to measure output CPK-4
Put a 50ohm dummy load and measure the voltage across it while transmitting , then use the formula for power using? the 50 ohms and the measured voltage ( P= V^2/R) 73 W4NRI - Noel On Thu, Nov 21, 2024, 4:46 PM anton.rietveld via <anton.rietveld=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: How to measure output CPK-4
Hi Berrie,
?
When I looked at that diagram, I suddenly realized that you can measure on a dummy load. And as it happens, this exact function is described for the dummy load from QRP Labs that I have sitting in the drawer.
?
?
I measured 6,6V, so the output power would be around 0,4W

Re: How to measure output CPK-4
Hi Anton, There is a good description of building a QRP power meter by Vk3ye on the internet, if you search for "Vk3ye qrp power meter". I measured it attaching an oscilloscope to the dummyload for the transmitter. The multimeter was used to measure the transmitters power supply :-) With only a multimeter you cannot measure the transmitters power output, unless you are going to be smart depending on the details of your meter.? You could attach a dummyload to the transmitter, and build a diode detector to measure the peak voltage of your transmitter. Than use your meter to measure this, and do the math to convert it to output power.? If you are really interested in measuring this, I would recommend to use this as an excuse to get myself an oscilloscope of some sort that covers your cpk's frequency :-)? If you are in the Eindhoven area I could help. In that case please send me a direct message. Berrie PB4PT.? Op do 21 nov. 2024 22:46 schreef anton.rietveld via <anton.rietveld=[email protected]>:

Re: SSB6.1 kit info
Hello friends! I finished it myself. The plate is functional but needs to be adjusted. I have the necessary devices, I just lack the time... If someone still has them under construction, maybe we can finish them together. GL & 73! Costin, ?n lun., 4 nov. 2024 la 19:00, Mark - N7EKU via <n7eku=[email protected]> a scris:

Guys,
If you still read QRP Quarterly, you will find my short piece about CPK-4 QRP Transmitter Kit. Thanks, Adam |
QRPBuilder new products
Gang, ? QRPBuilder is announcing two new paddles. They are an iambic and single lever design similar to our other paddles, but are attached to your project by neodymium magnets, and can be moved from radio to radio, or removed for storage or transportation. ?
