Please follow this diagram to build the 20m Pixie kit. The black barrell-shaped inductor is 22uH.

KC9ON also says you suggested I change the C2 100pF capacitor to a 47 pF capacitor on input to filter.? Again, C2 on my Pixie 2023 schematic is a 10 mF electrolytic in the audio section.? Which capacitor(s) on the CB am I to replace?? (I also plan to use a 2N2222 for my PA.)

I am OK with replacing the 470 pF capacitors with the 220 pF capacitors you sent me.

If you give me a hint on what capacitors I should put where I will appreciate it.

Not sure Tim, i may have a couple somewhere, otherwise its the big 3 with the postage. If i cant find mine and im 50% sure i won't till i don't want one, I'll? go halves and send to you. If you need 2, ill buy 10 plus some other bits make it worth while.

Sorry that first part should have been?RF Mosfets? RD15H1f1 which I believe will be a? bit more sensitive if driven with minimum acceptable power? (class C drive, HF).

Adam, we are going through a vote to change the frequencies on 40m, it may be prudent to wait a while before you bulk up on crystals.
South pacific areas as far as i know. Someone else may have more.

Adam -? THe HB 1A black magic box? is back from Vac too... It is just clearing customs at? Auck International Airport this fine an chilly morning so the magic? internet data says.
I got sort of chased by a large dog? (hat's my story) up on a local volcano while putting up a simulated emergency antenna (bamboo pole and dipole) the other night.? Small mercy - the volcano has been extinct for about? 200 million years.?

Could not find photo of Mt Maunu quickly? .. so Mt Manaia will have to do. Maunu is more gently rounded and? 60 mtrs lower ASL.

There is no repeater on Manaia .. but there SHOULD be..:-))

I'm glad you and your family had a great vacation.? With my bad back I could not do the 1400 steps but I certainly could enjoy the great looking food.? I love Chinese food and I'm sure the real thing is much better than our Kentucky restaurants but they are good.

I might also suggest to others the possibility of using medium-strength threadlocker like Blue LocTite (not red — which is permanent) on the existing hardware without tightening down every corner 100%+, which would alleviate a bit of the flex on the upper board. I feel this should work for me; of course, every build could be slightly different. And as the manual says, try to make sure the BNC is installed as flush/flat to the main board as possible, regardless of your hardware.

I found it to be a fun and satisfying kit (especially after I identified all the capacitors etc :)?

Guys,

Confirmed the problem. The latest BNC connector is about 2mm taller. Actions have been taken:

  • Notified all the customers with suggested fixes. ADX-S V2 orders later than May 10 largely will have impact.
  • Purged all the stock and fixed.
  • I will build an ADX-S V2 kit every 2 months to verify all the components batch changes. If you want an assembled kit, please monitor my message in this group.

You would have to check whether everything can be implemented.
I would first use the TCXO and then the 455Khz ceramic filter.
Everything else could cause problems because a lot has to be changed in the Area of the Band modules and the motherboard
to implement? module detecetion and FT37-43 swapping for the output stage.

So for me, the TCXO and the ceramic filter
would be enough for now
