35 USD would be quite good price as I have raised shipping. On Sun, Aug 18, 2019 at 9:59 PM bleepingbeep <bleepingbeep@...> wrote: Still available.? A guy said he would take it, but? he disappeared into the woodwork and has not responded to my email. -- Thanks, Adam Rong |
Re: New shipping rule
Ian, Thanks for the attention. I shipped by ePacket. The introduction is here:ePacket: an economy International express service operated by China Postal Express&Logistics in cooperation with partner posts to ship cross-border e-commerce light-weight products weighing up to 2kg. ePacket items are injected into the light-weight network of the destination post for local delivery after customs clearance via postal channel, featuring stable end-to-end speed of 7-10 working days and preferential rate. The tracking information is here: If you click on the tracking history, you will know the detail: Shipped July 23 Arrive Sydney Aug 7 Left Sydney Aug 11 Delivered at QTH in West Australia near Perth Aug 16 The total shipping time is 24 days. We can see customs delay for about 4 days. The customer ordered an ARDF receiver a few weeks ago and the shipping time is very similar, about 3 weeks. Conclusion: 1. ePacket is still a lower priority shipping and it will wait in queue for flight. EMS will be higher priority. 2. The customer is a returning customer and placed a bigger order and was anxious to build the kit but the shipping experience is still the same. Thanks, Adam Thanks, Adam On Sat, Aug 17, 2019 at 4:43 AM <gm0sim@...> wrote:

I wonder if you will get an apology if things turn up in Oz having been delayed by their customs or just a postal screw up across there?
All the best and thanks for all the good work Adam.

Re: New shipping rule
The web site is updated. My shipping agent will get rich now, hihi. Thanks,On Fri, Aug 16, 2019 at 11:49 PM Adam Rong via Groups.Io <rongxh=[email protected]> wrote: Folks, -- Thanks, Adam Rong |
New shipping rule
Folks,
Lesson learned. This weekend I will update the web site to default EMS shipping with higher freight 20 USD. For the returning customers with good transaction experiences, you can save money by requesting regular air shipping by email in 2 hours after order placed via PayPal. The shipping cost will be based on the actual and the extra will be partially refunded. Both EMS and regular air shippings can be tracked. However, the regular air shipping is slower and varies within 7-30 days for most of the countries. I hope you can understand the trouble caused, in order to improve experience. Thanks, Adam |

D4D low power output
Hi
I have recently built the D4D kit for the 40m band. The whole experience of building it was great. I have a small problem with the power output however. Even with 800mV at the input and with no modifications made so far I only get 0.8W output. The current draw is 180mA when transmitting. This is into a 50 Ohm dummy load and also into my 40m antenna that has an SWR of 1.2 at 7074Khz I have replaced both output transistors and checked the toroid winding and all components. Is anyone experiencing similar issues? Thanks Nicholas - 2E0GKG |

Strange things about HT-1A kit
Folks,
A few of customers might have questions when you receive your HT-1A kit or assembled kit. Let me explain a few things: 1. User manual is not included. You will need to download from ?at here? If you have purchased kits from crkits, you will know nomrally that a printed one page manual will be put in the kit to guide you the important items and a few links to download. However, the HT-1A kit is prepared directly by the designer BD4RG, so the printed manual is not included. Please understand. 2. Even for assembled kit customers, you will receive a PCB and a few spare parts. Yes, this is free for your modification or repair purposes. Please keep them. 3. For kit customers, you will receive two potentiometers while there is only one hole on the panel. Because the panel space is limited, only one hole is reserved, however, the board has two sockets (RF and AF) to choose for the connection. If you want to use both AF and RF attenuation, you can consider adding a hole on the rear panel. Thanks, Adam |
