TSW-752 Screen Saver Question

开云体育

Hi Folks,

?

This is my first time working with the newer TSW-752 panels. I am playing with the screen saver and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to set the offset for my time zone (Atlantic Time). I am using time.nrc.ca for the server and the time shown on the screen saver is 3 hours ahead. I have looked through the literature and online but cannot find a thing. Would anyone know the secret?

?

Kind regards,

?

-David

Hi,

you will need the module "Network Time Sync". It's in the Crestron Module area.

Not for 3 series. With 3 series, ntp is built in to the firmware and is set from the system info dialog in toolbox

It's never too late to learn!

Thank you for the replies. I was under the impression that the screen saver was stand alone. If you go into it through text console you can tell the panel what time server to use then tell it to start syncing on its own. There just does not seem to be a way to tell it what time zone you are in. I will have to hook it up to system and try running the” Network Time Sync” module to see if that makes a difference.

Could you give me more advice to set the time and date and also the time Zone by the system Info dialog!? I can't find anything...

Andrew Welker

It's under functions/system time.

I use the Toolbox, use the System Info and find the Functions in the menu bar. I choose my TSW from the Addressbook but there is no system time.

I only see:
- DNS Management
- Device Info
- Device Reset
- Error Log
- Ethernet Addressing
- File System
- Firmware
- General Diagnostic
- IP Table Setup
- Project
- SSL Management
- Serial Number Conversation
- Setup Mode

Doesn’t time come from the processor…

Where can i change the Time?

At the Moment i use the Date/Time Module to synch the Time/Date and Timezone...is this the right way?

Yes, time comes from the processor. There isnt a way to set the date and time on the touchpanel that I'm aware ofm. The function/system time I mentioned before show up when you are connected to the processor, not the touch panel.
