TSR-310 time synch

开云体育

Hi,

?

if I get this correctly, the TSR-310 doesn?t do NTP. It gets out of synch pretty quickly. So how to ensure it stays in synch with the correct time without doing it manually via Toolbox?

?

Thanks,

Thorsten

I don't see the option in CLI and I'm not sure about toolbox, but you can definitely setup an NTP server in the web interface under configure date/time. There is a time Sync on/off setting, time server and time zone in there.?

Yeah, well – that?s embarrassing..

Indeed, there is a device setting that allows to enable (s)ntp on the remote.

The fact, that the update interval is greyed out and that remote?s time were never really in synch with my desktop pc made me believe that there?s something wrong with it.

In fact, my desktop pc time was wrong, the remote?s time was perfectly aligned…

?

Thanks,

Thorsten

Well, it seems it?s not that easy.

Just had a look at a client?s remote. Although it?s set to do sntp, it doesn?t seem to do a regular resynch.

However, clicking on “Synchronize Device Time using SNTP Now” in Toolbox did trigger a time resynch.

So it seems it works in general, but it?s just not doing the re-synch.

?

Cheers,

Thorsten

I also noticed that the current time on the web interface doesn't automatically update unless you refresh/reload the page
