Touchpanel TSW 770 B-S Does not want to enter user project application

Hello,
I have here my touchpanell TSW 770 B-S with firmware version 2.004.1079. I am able to sent my GUI project to the panel but everytime it reboots it enters crestron default mode. I cannot force it to enter user project application. As far as I know this is the latest firmware. Any ideas?

Hi,

did you change the TSW application mode to ¡°User Project¡±?

You can do that via the Touchpanel GUI => Settings=>Applications=>Application Mode => User Project

?

Cheers,
Thorsten

What Thorsten said. I'm sure that's your issue...

Hello All,
Yes I tried that many times the issue was different....

So apparently Johathan asnwered me for the same question on crestron community, the issue was that in my project name I used TSW-770 and you should not use a special cases. After changing the project name to TSW770 without - it sucked in UI. Now I have the problem that my Xpanel can trigger parameters (I can see it in debbuger) my touchpannel is not doing nothing :P

Did you set the parameters (IPID as in the program and processor IP/hostname) in the TSW770?

?

Cheers,

Thorsten

Ok In my program TSW770 is IPID 41 with ip 192.168.10.11 and my control unit RMC4 ip is 192.168.10.12 (ip table was given to me by project menager). On the ip table on the control unit I have IPID 41 ip of TSW and default port 41794 and on the touchpanel I have ip table 03 ip of control unit and port 41794 also. Right now control unit says touchscreen is offline and the touchscreens says that control unit is offline what am I doing wrong?

When I go to system info my touchpannel has loop back ip adress...

That doesn't seem right.
First in your SMW program, is the TSW at 03 or 41? i.e. the IP-ID of the TouchPanel device symbol.
The IP-ID in your program must match the IP Table entry in your TSW.

So if the program has the TSW device symbol at 41 (you will not need an IP address in this setup, Crestron finds it without it), and
The IP Table entry in your TSW is IP-ID 41 and the IP address of the processor (192.168.10.12) you should be communicating...

In my software TSW is iPID 41, when I changed ip table of TSW to IPID 41 istead of 03 and waited and waited after 2-3 min it come up online, to be honest I tried that before but I guess I am not patient enough and I am rushing. I am under big time pressure my company which I quit and this is my last 2 weeks of termination suddenly wants to finish all the projects. Thank you for your answer.

Do you have the processors IP address in the TSW IP table entry? you'll need both the IP-ID (41) and the processors IP address (192.168.10.12 as you had mentioned).
Also, can you ping the processor's IP address from the TSW in text console? is it possible that you have a VLAN issue?

Just to confirm, in SMW device section do you have a specific device symbol for the TSW-770? FYI, if you are happening to use a TCP/IP client, that will not work...
