Sony UHD BluRay Player looking RS232 protocol

Dustin Wenninger All Messages By This Member #225043 Has anyone successfully controlled this unit?? I know I have it wired correctly and the correct baud rate, I've tried the sony 400 disc module (doesn't work).? Currently I've been on hold with Sony dealer tech support waiting for an hour.? I'm either looking for the protocol to write my own module or a module already written.

For some reason even though I set the Blu-ray player to network standby on so that the lan port can stay powered even when the unit is switched off, I was only able to connect to it and control after the Blu-ray player was physically turned on.? ?When the Blu-ray player is turned off or goes into standby the connection with the tcp/ip client is disconnected and it doesn’t connect.? The 1000ES is the only official unit that has IP control.?
