SONY SRG X400 camera control

 

Hi All,

Has anyone had experience controlling the Sony SRG X400 cameras??

I’ve tried using the?Sony_BRC-X400_SRG-X_series module on the application market. Couldn’t get it to control via UDP. I then used the SRG 300SE module on the Crestron Application Market and got control of the camera but the presets won’t control.?


Sadly, I have to revisit site next week as I had a phone call with the Sony rep and still couldn’t get it working.?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Did you put the jumper in the good position?

what do you mean by the jumper??


I have a cable in the Lan and PTZ controls are working g but presets aren’t.?

I do and SRG-A last week and there is a switch on the camera for UDP control

Did you use a module from the application market??


there’s a dip switch with http or rtsp but no udp dip switch

Yes SGRX you can send direct command in the visca input, work great !

the commands from the module started with \x01

in visca serial entry in the SRGX module you need to send:

Preset1: \x8x\01\04\3F\02\00\FF

Preset2: \x8x\01\04\3F\02\01\FF

Preset3: \x8x\01\04\3F\02\02\FF

Tried these command sand they didn’t work. Very unusual. Only the \x01 starting commands work.?

Must be different commands in this camera.?

the "x" om the 8x is the cameras ID

So if camera is ID 1 = \x81
