Using the bravia module I've been using for years, won't connect no matter what combo of settings I have Any suggestions - or return it and get a new tv?

Is there a method for connecting crestron to the bravia using pre-shared key by chance?

I had a similar issue awhile back and got it to work by using the 'long'commands because simple protocol just wouldnt work.

Power On = *SCPOWR0000000000000001\x0A

Power Off = *SCPOWR0000000000000000\x0A

HDMI-1 = *SCINPT0000000100000001\x0A

What port did you get these commands to work on? I also cannot get a connection on port 20060.

I had 3 of them some months back that had a problem with the connection.? Port 20060 worked but all 3 would periodically drop offline and stay offline till I did something like unplug the display or reboot the processor or stood on my head...? Finally contacted Sony and they said update the firmware - which I did.? Displays never showed that the firmware # changed but the problem went away.? Beat on it for ~2 weeks before that - while working on other stuff.

Also, make sure you have all the settings in the display correct.? There are several settings in several places.? Don't remember them all offhand but they gotta be right or it will never connect.

Im pretty sure Sony have discontinued Simple IP Control protocol in alot of their screens.? Definitely the lower end TV models they have.??

They are supporting the Rest API in all of them though.??
