This is correct, the App Icons are fed to the panel from the Roku, however, in my experience the Roku will not provide an icon for the local inputs (HDMI 1, 2, 3, 4, TV etc.) so I loaded icons to match the sources I'm using in those inputs to my processor and sent the appropriate strings to the panel.
