MidAtlantic RackLink Issue

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Hi,

?

I have a ? to control power.

?

I am using to control it.

?

Running on a CP3.

?

Works fine for a while then the unit stops responding. Won¡¯t turn outlet on after some period of rest.

?

The modules continues to send the command but there is no reply from the device.

?

The TCP/IP client ¡°Connect¡± input is high.

The TCP/IP client ¡°status¡± is 1 (waiting).

The TCP/IP client ¡°Connect-F¡± is low. Of course.

?

IP table TCP/IP client says ¡°waiting¡±.

?

The PDX-215c unit can ping the processor and the processor can ping it, they are both online and can see each other.

?

Anyone have a suggestion?

?

Anyone else use these things and have working code?

?

Especially for a 4 series since the current module is 2 or 3 series only?

?

Have a Great Day,

?

Mr. Thomas,

?

Sorry to learn of your trials and tribulations.? I have no personal experience with Middle Atlantic¡¯s IP controlled power products and therefore cannot offer

And meaningful observations or solutions.?

?

That said, I am quite familiar with SnapAV¡¯s product line and they work exceedingly well. ?As a matter of record, I received an email this very morning about

A client¡¯s hacienda going offline.? We had continuous rain and lightning storms over the weekend.? As a possible alternative, Crestron now offers these very

Same appliances in their product assortment.? I have no experience with their version either/yet.

?

Feel free to contact me, personally if I can offer any other insights¡.

Hi Thomas,
I'm late for a meeting right now, but will chime in later. I've integrated with the 915R models very successfully over the last few years, and have good contacts inside MAP.
Standby...

Hi Thomas,
*** In your post, you call out the "PDX-215c" model vs the?RLNK-215...
The PDX does not even have an ethernet port on it so I'm hoping that you miss-typed...

Assuming that you're controlling a controllable unit (RLNK models):
First, feel free to reach out to me directly if you want to chat about the specifics of your install...
Second, as mentioned I have used this module successfully with the RLNK-915R units, but have not used it with the?RLNK-215, though it should be the same.
I worked with MAP over the last couple years to sort out IP/Firmware issues with the initial (v01.02) and and interim (v01.10) versions. both had issues with DHCP and Static addressing schemes after a hard boot.

The current firmware version (v1.14.02 Release) has been solid. This would be the first place I would start, by verifying that you're running this version.
NOTE: the upgrade process will be messy regarding the IP address, so you will want to be on-site and be able to do IP scans to find the unit, etc...

HTH

Reach out to MA support, they have new firmware for this
