IR Learner CSP-LIR-USB Driver

I need the driver for the Crestron CSP-LIR-USB IR learner. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Do you have toolbox installed?
If not, try to install it and just after that, plug the learner.

Im a tard, I was trying to use windeal, thanks!

Speaking of the CSP-LIR-USB, I have noticed something odd.

It only seems to be reliable if I am running my laptop on battery power. ?If I plug it in, it seems to freak out, like there is noise causing it to see fake signals.

What's odd is that this does this on laptops by two different manufacturers.

Anyone else notice this?

My Dell Latitude E-something-or-other is fine on battery or AC… 90% of the time, though, I’m learning on AC [e.g. hotel room with my feet up on a coffee table] and I’ve definitely never had issues learning with the CSP-LIR-USB on AC.

Yes it depends on your laptop.? On my old one i could not use the IR learner if the power was plugged into it or if i had a VGA cable plugged into it at the same time.? Something weird with how the laptop was wired.? Or another guess was there was a short on the case of the laptop.

I think it is related with ground or inverted hot/neutral at AC outlet.
A thing that happened with me was a interference from my touch-pad when I was leaning my remote control on the housing of my laptop.

I was on-site on one job & had no issues. Finished up and went to another site a couple of days later couldn't learn anything. Tried the usual, turn off the lights, replace batteries, reboot laptop (an old Dell at the time). Gave up & took the remotes back to my hotel & the all learned without a hitch. Got to site the following day & tried to learn a remote that I had forgotten - no joy. Learnt fine that evening at hotel.
Put it down to mains at the time. Unplugging power brick was not an option as Dell would not charge battery. (How many Dell owners have that problem BTW?)

Speaking of Windeal (Which I now only use in the office) & Toolbox Device Learner for that matter.
What bright spark at Crestron thought it would be a good idea to clear all the commands that you have just typed in but not learned & saved the file?
I sat on site a couple of weeks ago and typed in all the commands for a Denon DVD (yes DVD) & DAB radio. Saved the files & went to lunch.
Came back opened the files only to find they had all been cleared.
Does it in Windeal & Device Learner - try it.

+1.

I have just had TB confirm a problem with the latest toolbox/database combination where Device Learner would continuously request the button being learned be pressed again. This occurs with both USB based learners and may or may not occur with every button being learned. Just a heads up.

Cheers
