Importing Smart Graphics/Objects into Simple
Andrew Welker
Once you have compiled your panel in VT Pro, open up your program in Simpl Windows. Find the symbol for the panel, right click on it and select "manage smart graphics". A dialog box will open that lists all of the Smart Graphics panels that are defined in your program. Select the one you want, and then select browse and find your VT Pro file. Once you have done that, select OK, and the smart graphics objects will be imported into your program. This will also place a copy of the .sgd file that is produced when you compile a panel file in the same directory as the .smw file. If you make any changes to the panel, make sure you compile the panel, then select refresh smart graphics objects in Simpl Windows. That will update everything for you.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou compile the VT-Pro file then in simpl right click on the touch panel and select manage smart extenders. From that dialog box select your touch panel and then browse to where you saved your touch panel file, select and then exit. Nate L On May 15, 2014, at 7:52 PM, "enidsaldin@... Anytime that I 'refresh smart graphics extenders', Simpl comments out all of the old extenders and imports all brand new versions WITHOUT my programming. ?Am I doing something wrong or is this a 'feature'? ?I have 18 panels and about 20 SG extenders and even with the new duplicate programming, it is tiresome to delete all the commented out extenders after copying.... oy!
