Hi,

?

first time use of a HZ2-KCPN keypad.

Keypad is configured with a big rocker button covering rows 1-3 and two small buttons, covering rows 4 and 5.

The two buttons at the bottom are supposed to differentiate between pressing the left or the right side of the rocker.

But I only get “button 4” or “button 5” as a feedback.

?

Is there anything I am missing?

Unfortunately, you are stuck with the button configurations that they allow for, as far as I know.
The left/right rocker configurations are only available with the 5 button configurations.
?
I kind of hate the fact that we are now stuck with these options and have no way to customize!
?

Yeah that layout is called "Style 5", unfortunately the lower two keys are toggle only.
 

I was hopeful that the v2 would fix the limitations but they made things worse...:(
I actually didn't know about that one...ridiculous!
Are you using SMW or HOME?? I'm thinking that SMW will give you more flexibility...I'll have to test this my self...

Another big miss that I started complaining about with v1 is the lack of a 2 or 3 space button that just toggles...Like you can do with the Cameos.
Almost no client wants a small rocker, IMO. But they often want a single big button to walk in/out of a room and toggle the lights on or off...
How is it that this is not an option??????????? ?there is a button under the center of the 3-space rocker...

I'm still hopeful that Crestron is extricating the 'Corporate, know nothing about Integration' thinking that half destroyed the company from 2018-2022 ish...
