DM-NAX Network Switch

 

Has anyone gotten the DM-NAX to work with the Araknis Switches?? I actually had it working a little at one point but currently when switching sources to zone and monitoring NAX web interface it say connection denied to the zone , then flashes again and says stream started.? Some other zones just say connecting...? Is there anything to make this work we have a few of these switches and they are only few months old trying not to get stuck with them.??

Which series? 220, 320 or 420 of the araknis

hmm, i know they had trouble with the 420 switch, but the 220 should work ok

Not happening. ?I believe the only araknis that might work is 920 series. ?You need layer 3. ?On the flip side there is $150 Netgear 8 port that works just fine.

Well, the ones that have an AV Profile to apply are easier, the GS110 is set up the hard way . . .

I am using the Cisco C1000 switches.? I have not had any issues.? I will note that I also had issues with the NAX getting streams connecting.? If you are going Crestron to Crestron you should be fine.? ? I had an issue sending AES67 strings to the NAX and found out that Crestron only excepts two channel AES67 streams.? I tried sending a single channel microphone stream and the audio would either never connect or it would be a very distorted sound..??

What's involved with setting up the GS110TPv3?? Is is just manually setting all those multicast settings or some other stuff as well?
