DM-MD8x8 Error message
Hi,
Can anybody help me with DM error with the following message? HDCP ERRORS OUTPUT 1 - DM OUTPUT UNAUTHENTICATED OUTPUT 2 - SAME OUTPUT 3 - HDMI OUTPUT UNAUTHENTICATED I cant find these messages in the DM tool. Has anyone ran into this problem? It also keeps loosing the signals on the displays when watching cable. Thank you |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý¡¤??????? Is this a new Error message on a previously working DM System? ¡¤??????? You can do a System Reboot to see if that corrects the issue...I just had an error message on one of my systems and the reboot corrected the No Picture issue. ¡¤??????? Have you attempted to manually "Route" a proven Source to the zones issuing the error message? ¡¤??????? Are the TV Displays On? ?They need to be.? I would normally assume that we are dealing with "known TV Displays" from mainstream suppliers as opposed to made in China by Japanese Prisoners of war. ¡¤??????? Check your HDMI Source & DM socket connections....remove them and then re-insert...could be a simple cable connection issue.? Are the HDMI cables in good shape? ¡¤??????? Check your DM Config as far as the supported Display resolutions for the designated zones.? They can be set individually or can also default to the lowest common display resolution. ¡¤??????? Could be one of the Output Cards? could try swapping a known good one to see if that makes any difference ? ¡¤??????? DM provides the ability to trace each route via the DM Tool ? Just trying to help. ? msm ? ? From: Crestron@... [mailto:Crestron@...]

I have video on the displays they are all Samsung TVs but what happens is that the image flickers sometimes and sometimes it goes blank and 3 seconds after it shows up again. I dont know if the error message is what is causing the problem or is the signal coming from the cable box. Hard to say but i really dont want to have that message displaying on the DM diplay screen. I have already checked all the conections and everything is fine. I think that i have to authenticate it but i couldnt find it in the DM tools or any instruction on crestron true blue support page. You said to check the DM supported display resolutions but in the config there are alot of resolutions to pick from unless i try each one of them. Its gotta be something simple to solve the problem. I am using Cat5e going to all the room boxes DM-RMC-200-C. Inputs are 3 calbe boxes, 1 amazon Fire TV, 1 Blu-ray player and 1 Apple TV. In dmtools i was watching the routing and it was doing the proper routing. like i said, all the displays shows the image but sometimes it flickers for 3 seconds and after it goes back to normal. but this only happens with the cable boxes not the other sources. I have not used this feature yet to force a specific resolution but I will check into it. I know that the boxes are broadcasting 1080i but this issue even happens when watching an HD channel.?
Someone told me that I will probably need a signal booster for the cable boxes.I didn't want to get the cable company involved because they see A/V racks as monsters and will probably say that I am the one causing the problem. OBS: It seems like I just resolved the authentication problem by unplugging everything, even the DM switcher and plugging everything back again. NO Errors so far. Now I have to wait and see it the TVs will not flicker again. |
