Debugger digital signal indicators
Andrew Welker
It's in the release notes for the latest version. All of the indicators have changed to match the style in SIMPL Windows. Red for analog, black for serial, and blue for digital.

That's what I get for not thoroughly reading the release notes :) Either way, I *love* changes that lower the ease of use / functionality of software, especially when it appears to be a very arbitrary decision. They're not allowed to fix something they broke (column order) without breaking something else.? It's in the contract.? What do you mean you didn't read it? On Thu, Oct 6, 2016 at 10:02 AM, Phil Bridges gravityhammer@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

I wonder how many unterminated signals they have in the code ;) On Thu, Oct 6, 2016 at 10:21 AM, Jeremy Weatherford jweather@... [Crestron] <Crestron@...> wrote:

开云体育What the @#$% is going on at Crestron? ? I, as well as many of you, have been staring at debugger/mangler for over 14 years and now they want to change the visual cues that we have become so familiar with in debugging systems.? How on earth is this a good idea? ? The colored arrows were so much more obvious as to whether a signal was high or low.? ? ? Heather Baiman From: Crestron@... [mailto:Crestron@...]

开云体育A medium-sized crow has informed me that this should be in a higher-contrast form in the near future. ? I like what they were going for in terms of consistency across the software (blue = digital across the board, etc) – especially since one of the things I’ve bitched about has been Crestron’s lack of consistency – but the change/lack of contrast in the arrows was not well conceived ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market Director Sr. Systems Architect | Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Gold) Crestron Services Provider | Biamp Audia Certified | Extron Control Professional From:

开云体育I'm still on Toolbox 2.42.324. ? Have the Toolbox changes since this uproar about the colors resulted in a useable debugger?? I figure I'm going to be required to update Toolbox sometime soon. ? Heather Baiman From: Crestron@... [mailto:Crestron@...]
