Authentication Blocked IP

 

Have you guys getting a lot of chinese ip getting block while trying to access your systems?

Took the time to geo locate the ips and all of them are from China.
 

We stop exposing ports to the Internet a long time ago because oversea sources were constantly pounding them.? We now use OpenVPN if we need remote access.? If you absolutely must do port forwarding, I advise you to use a router where you can set up firewall rules and then only allow certain IP addresses (e.g. your IP addresses) to pass.

Yes, nobody (except explicitly authorized) should be able to get on the blocking list of an internal Crestron processor¡­
