For those who have SMW integration with AprilAire 8810-8840 wifi Tstats, has anyone seen communications issues with them lately?? Particularly with 4-series running recent FW??

Anyone have these on any sites???? We have 12 8840's on this site.
We found that the recent AprilAire software updates seemed to cause issues. when we forced them up to the latest, they seemed much better, but we're still seeing 1-2 random TStats occasionally (~1-2 days) go off-line.
This wouldn't be bad but we have to restart/reboot to get them connected again.

We have a few sites using Aprilaire WiFi Tstats amd Controlworks module . They seem to perform best when on the same VLAN as Crestron processor, and when setup using DHCP reservations for a 2.4ghz WiFi.

Interesting, we're using the CW module as well (Shout out to CW and Caleb! they're fantastic!!) and our stats are static IPs. I'm working with a dealer so I don't have direct control of the network.
I'll look into changing to? dhcpRES and separate Wifi (they may have already moved to a 2.4g Wifi...)

It’s the number of stats you are dealing with that Aprilaire can’t deal with. ?I have also used the CW module and its tip top. ?We also have had issues with random stats randomly disconnecting. ?I’d bet you a donut that if it were just 6 of them online instead of 12 that they’d be way more consistent. ?Something about a gaggle of 88XX units at once causes issues. ?My experience is only from a single site but we had identical issues with them reliably staying online. ?It was a little while back but it became such an issue we ended up going infinet stats which has remarkably been rock solid…

And I'm shocked that the EX stats worked for you!? They do actually work fine, but fine needs to be redefined as kinda crappy - HaHa - I'm referring to the expected issues with battery function/requirement (and LoBatt notif), and the issue with setpoint reset on program bootup...

Also AV Master:? ?Was that on a 3 or 4-series?

And Also J5Races:? We are already using a dedicated 2.4g SSID, but still using static addresses...

3 Series…I don’t even remember what a 4 Series looks like lol!

Our project actually has a CP4 so that's interesting that you saw similar issues with the 3-series...
