we installed a system several years ago consisting of a DMPS3-4K-150-C with a DM-TX-201-C on a wall outlet and a wall mounted DM-TX-4K-100-C as DM-inputs.

So far we have only used the DM USB ports for standard HID devices such as a keyboard and mouse. Now, we have to add an USB AEC system of existing ceiling loudspeakers and new wireless conference microphones. For this we will use a Tesira Forté or a Shure P300 as processor and USB-connection.

Do any of you have experience with whether the USB connection (TX-201 USB-B <-> DMPS3 USB-A) can also be used for a USB speakerphone (2x2 channels)?

We're not on site, so we can't test it at the moment.

Hi Peter! The short version is: Never.

USB on DM TX 201 is USB HID only. If you want to stay in the Crestron brand you'll need to look at their USB extenders not DM. Like the USB-EXT series?
