CLX-2DIMU8 flashing 1-2 error code pattern on outputs 5 through 8 #lighting

Hello guys,

I'm currently experiencing an issue with a CLX-2DIMU8 lighting module. This module was installed Thursday of last week (with no issues) and just yesterday it started flashing a 1-2 error code on the LEDs for the 5 through 8 outputs. The user manual mentions making sure power is being supplied to the unit, and we already made sure of that. Is there a way to restore functionality for these outputs?

If you look at the installation guide, it says the 1-2 error code means
"Communications to the corresponding dimming processor have failed. Reboot the unit or contact Crestron customer service.."

So if a reboot does not take care of it, it is probably RMA time.

The most common error I have seen with this is a 2-2 error code which means a shorted FET -- probably because someone overloaded the module. ? Also RMA time when this happens.

?

Enable debugging on the module, and let it tell you what the error is. These modules are very sensitive so if an electrician was doing something while the module was powered up then it's probably fried.

I wouldn't say that at all.
Worth checking REPORTCRESNET and/or NetDevTree to ensure it's reporting, and at the correct CNET ID (didn't change to default ID, etc).
May need to review and troubleshoot the CNET topology & connections if it isn't.
Otherwise, ensure the program is still running on the processor (didn't stop due to runtime issues, etc - refer to logs if needed).
