Control Crosspoints #simplwindows

Greetings again,
No experience whatsoever with Crestron gear or logic for the most part.
I revived some of my p201 course and they sent me the unfinished version so I cant use finished reference. My goal for residential practice purposes is to control 3 controllers, 3 rooms, and 3 sources simultaneously. For instance if one controller wanted to quick fire say "master bed cable 1, master bath cable 2, master sitting cable 3", that would be an option, or switch 3 rooms to the same source and be able to control everything as intended. I suppose the thing thats stumping me in the logic flow.

- How do we handle Rooms? Would this be a Control crosspoint?
- How do we handle source selection? Would that be a control crosspoint as well?

I understand Controller logic such as lighting button on a TSW would probably warrant a control Crosspoint, and source control would warrant an equipment Crosspoint. Tying everything together with multiple rooms and sources to where it works is whats stumping me. I can thank my lack of experience for that. How would some of you handle that?

Many ways to do it.? But the way I usually do it is have two sets of crosspoints.

One set is for source or device control.
The other set is for room control (volume, source selection, power, etc)

I keep on the source/device crosspoints in one folder call crosspoints/Source Control.
And keep all the room crosspoints in another folder call crosspoints/Room Control.
Nothing but equipment, control, and route symbols in these folders with the each type in its own subfolder.

That way I can easily visualize how the equipment, control, and routing symbols are related.? I personally avoid putting my crosspoints in modules as I find that harder to figure out which modules are connected to each other.?
