Has anyone controlled a 1beyond Aitomate VX from VC4?

I’m running into an issue where the program (SIMPL) running on VC4 won’t log into the automate VX box. ?

Running the same program (same .lpz)on an RMC4 logs in no problem.?

I did verify that port 3579 is open in the linux firewall (the port the VX uses for http requests).?

Just wondering whether anyone has run into this.?

Just got an email response from support:

“The current modules for an Automate system do not support VC4 and?are intended to be used with 3 or 4?series control systems. “

not sure what they could be doing in these modules that would make them VC4 incompatible, but in case anyone else runs into this, here you go.?

on other modules I have run into absolute file path issues.? You may need to create the needed file path on the linux box with permissions to get it work.? I have done this for the Crestron TV presets module and that resolved the issue.? From console type?journalctl -u virtualcontrol -f -all?and reboot your program.? Watch for errors to appear and see what shows up.? folder ownership should be?virtualcontroluser
