Biamp Control Subnet
Yes, forwarding Port 61415. However, this only works if you have a single DSP on the subnet. If you've got multiple?FORTEs or a SERVER and a FORTE, etc., the software will complain that it can't connect to all units and you won't be able to do anything. I asked Biamp about this a few months ago and the response I got at the time was that there was no way around this. We ended up replacing the pair of FORTEs with a single SERVER-IO at that site for this reason. I forwarded ports 5353, 12003 and 61451 in the crestron router config.? When I connect to the IP address of my CP3N using the Tesira software, Tesira will take about 45 seconds then complain and say device discovery failed.? Once I click OK, it gives me the options I usually get when biamp is directly connected to the network.? I also get live feedback when? connected to the system.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIs it a single device Tesira system or are there multiple devices part of the system (e.g. multiple Tesira Fortes, Tesira Server IOs, etc?) ? If possible things work much better the other way around, IME ¨C put Tesira on the real LAN and you can still reach it if your laptop is on the CS side of the house and also via VPN, etc. without having to play port games ¨C if it¡¯s a single Forte that¡¯s usually much less problematic though. ? (And remember Crestron¡¯s official guidance is still ¡°swirl devices only on the Control Subnet¡± though it¡¯s not as strongly messaged as it was at the beginning of the 3-series) ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI put all of my TesiraFortes in a single unit setup on the control subnet, you just need to forward 61451 and you can then connect from outside the control subnet. ?
