LG RS-232 Pinout

 

Hi everyone,

We are installing an LG display ( 86UH5E ) with RS-232 control through the 4-pin TRS connector.

Does anyone know which connections on the display are TX, RX and Ground?

I have a different TV (LG OLED C8), but these are notes I took when I hooked it up:


? DB9 Pin 3 to 3.5mm Tip

? DB9 Pin 2 to 3.5mm Ring

? DB9 Pin 5 to 3.5mm Sleeve

Make sure LG firmware is greater then 3.x.x. Version 3 has serial problems
