DMPS-300-C CEC

Hi,

Could someone point me in the right direction please?
I have a DMPS300C with a Fire TV connected to Input 1. I would like to control the Fire TV via CEC but cannot find anywhere in Simpl to tie the signals too.
I assume it is possible??
Any help would be appreciated?

Kind Regards, Gary

On each of the HDMI inputs / output symbols there is a serial signal for CEC transmit and receive.

On the outputs it is "CEC_Transmit" and "CEC_Receive_Fb".

On the inputs it is "HDMI_Transmit_CEC_Message" and "HDMI_Receive_CEC_Message_Fb".

You can then tie in the appropriate CEC module from the database or send your own CEC commands direct from an SIO, etc...

Sorry, I read this as a DMPS3-300-C, not the original. On the original DMPS-300-C I don't believe there is a way to do CEC.

You can do CEC on the 2-series DMPS, however the CEC signals are located on the Standard Functionality module that is added in the Logic folder, not on the hardware slots. You'll want to scroll down and expand the signal group for the input or output you want to control.

scroll down the tandard functionality module until you find Input1_Video_Feedbacks Signal Group, the SIgnals Input1_HDMI_In_Transmit_CEC_Message and Input1_HDMI_In_Receive_CEC_Message_Fb are used for CEC communication.?

Thank you all,
that worked like a charm. I¡¯m used to the 3 series DMPS units but the old one confused me somewhat.?
