Im looking for an MC3 Image file. I found bunch of Reddit and Yahoo topics but no links in it.
Does anyone has the image?

Image as in graphical? there are several stock photos on Crestron website under the product webpage.?

I think he's referring to the image file on the SD card that runs the MC3

Yes I did, now I`m waiting for my 2GB Micro SD card to arrive.
 

Do you mind sharing the image you received?? I have backed my image up and tried what I thought to be was a clean one, and can't get it to boot with a Sandisk 2GB card.??
 

The software image on the 3 series processors also includes the mac addresses, serial number and internal communication bus addresses.? If you are swapping in an image from a different unit you will want to hex edit the correct mac values into the image file.? That is if your planning to do it properly.??

Sending the unit in for repair is strongly recommended if you do not know what your doing and it is a must if the equipment belongs to a client.

It's underneath the daughter board. The daughter board is attached to the motherboard with two plastic screws.

No but I have found that removing power for an extended period of time before restoring power will help to restore operational connectivity

Yes. I'll send one to you. Use HxD to change the MAC address in the image to your MC3 and then use Win32DiskImager to write the image to a 2GB micro SD card.

may I also get an image, please. I have a project with a couple of MC3 and need to replace SD cards dying from time to time.

Could you please share the image with me too if you still have it. I am in deep trouble with my old MC3, only power light.
 


Please be advised. sharing or copying of processors images isn't allowed by the rules of the group, (as we cannot offer software when requested either) images are locked to devices per embedded encryption per device.?
