How can I have 6 buttons to the Keypad C2N-CB in D3PRO?

I am trying to create a program in D3Pro for lighting but when add the keypad above it comes out 4 small buttons and 1 large. the physical keypad has 6 small horizontal buttons. What do I have to do in D3Pro to make it show 6 buttons instead of 5?

It won't. Crestron lost the lawsuit with Lutron so they cannot make a 6 button keypad. It has to be 5 or 7. They've actually modified the button so if you order engravings, you can't physically fit 6 buttons anymore.?

Had a thought and haven't been able to try it in the real world. Could you program as a 7 button and have buttons 6 and 7 do the same thing and then outfit KP as a 6 button?

Pretty sure on those keypads you'd have to program button 7 & 8. The problem is if you want engravings, you can't get buttons to fit as according to Crestron, the new buttons have been modified so you can't put just 6 buttons in.?

We have done this. Program button 7 as needed. Then order extra single button engravings you need on extra place holder keypads in the program that contain all your 7&8 combined button. When you go to install them the flap at the bottom of the button has an extra tab now to prevent using them in the bottom position- they made it about 1-2mm longer. Simply shave off that tab and you can now use a full size button in the bottom position.?

I actually did that to a client's keypad, but I never knew that the reason behind all that was because Crestron had gotten sued for using 6 buttons kp. I had to customize the buttons like you were saying, shaving that extra lip off. it ended up working fine, if you leave that on you will not be able to make the press.
Now,my next question would be how will I get that integrated in simpl to use in my program? i have never use the D3pro before.

Thank you guys in advance

2 ways to accomplish this, both via ESIC. You either create and an RSD (remote system definition) with the actual loads so that you have complete feedback for the loads you would like to control or create virtual ?keypads with the control you want.?

Let me correct myself: it is Button 6 you need to put your logic on and use that for your single 6th button.?

Hi there,

I will explain better,im sorry for any confusion.
I have a 6 button keypad and in there I need the following working
Button 1 kitchen
Button 2 hallway
Button 3 Entry
Button 4 Pendant
Button 5 TV Room
Button 6 All Off

They all need to toggle on/off and be able to raise and lower the loads. only button 6th is single action

I opened D3 this morning and dragged one of these in and see your issue. You no longer can replace the large bottom button like you used to be able to. You used to be able to have 8 buttons on these but I can't find the option anymore. Maybe I'm missing something.?

If you right click on the large bottom button, there are some options. You are able to "split" it left and right. Use the left side for button 5 and the right side for button 6. (or as D3 says, button 5L and 5R)

I did try to do that but when I click the button physically it doesn't respond accordingly. Then I would have to use the same type button ?2 "single vertical" in the physical keypad in order for this to work. if i use the "single horizontal" it doesn't work.
