Controlling a device by USB HID with Crestron, any conversion box known?

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a conversion Box for controlling a device by USB HID. At the moment

it would be a Synology VS240HD (survaillance videostation) and it is only controlable with USB

HID (keyboard and mouse).

I am wondering if there is a conversion box with network and/or rs-232 connection, which offers

the possibility to send commands to that box, and this sends it to the device by USB HID.

It should be a keyboard and if possible mouse emulator, so no keyboard/mouse is needed.

Does anybody know such a conversion box?

regards, Stefan

+1 for the CNMK¡ I don¡¯t know if Crestron is still including the PS/2 to USB adaptor in the box but if not that¡¯s like $7 from any web retailer.

?

While I¡¯m not currently using one for that purpose ¨C I controlled a Cisco STB in my house that way for a little bit just because I could.
