Seized fan
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI don't know for sure but would guess it's a 12V DC fan.? Are you
getting a error because of the seized fan?
If so, you will be looking for a 3-wire fan (2 for power and 1 for
sense).? If just a visual observation it will most likely be a 2 wire
fan.? Not sure if you can tell what physical size the fans are from the
outside but if you can. Radio Shack stores do have a selection of fans that you
could choose from.? Also not sure if your fans connect to the main board
with a molex connector or directly soldered to the board.? You'll need to
save the molex so bring a soldering iron and small shrink tubing.

apologies for the delayed response,
No errors in the system at the moment, I suspect along with you it is a 2 wire 12v fan. Nothing for it but to get a couple of 12Vdc fans and see what I can see! Biamp for some reason use 5V fans and I always replace them with the quietest MagLev fan I can get. But because the Crestron products use an external 24Vdc I would assume any fans would 12V - but you never know? Cheers |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIIRC The TPS-G-TPI uses 5V fans ¨C but I can¡¯t find the photos I snapped when I needed to replace them in mine and I¡¯m not about to tear it apart again tonight ;) ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D Commercial Market Director Sr. Systems Architect | Crestron Certified Master Programmer (Silver) Crestron Services Provider | Biamp Audia Certified | Extron Control Professional From:
