If your using smart graphics, You need to use an image object set to modes. Add as many modes as you have frames and load the graphics for each frame to each mode. Add a digital animation join and your set. You could also use studio to create a custom animation and add it to an existing theme (my preference, if your going to use it alot).

Unofficially there is no way today to add a .swf animation or gif etc...
