Samsung ME55B IP Control Issue

I can connect to it. Change inputs, adjust volume, etc. However when I turn it off I can't turn it back on because the ethernet port is dead when the TV is off. Any ideas how to enable the ethernet port when the TV is off.

Thanks Corey

Hi Corey,

Did you ever figure this one out? I am having the exact same issue. When I ping the port while the display is off there is no response. There must be some way to keep it active while the display is off.

Thanks,
Eric

There is info on this board about using the Wake on LAN feature on these TVs. I've got it working here at my shop. Use WoL to turn the display on, then you can go from there. Works well.

If there is a panel off command, that shuts off the backlight but leaves the
unit on . . .

Hello !

Is there a way to perform WoL thru DIN-AP2 or CP2E ? Using TCP CLIENT ?

Thank you,

Yes, there's a module in the Files section here. You'll use a UDP
Communications "device" to send the WoL magic packet.

Hallo

can you tell me the TCP port and module you use to control the TV?

WOL to wake the display. ?UDP is 40000. TCP port is 1515. ?The Samsung 460UTN-UD Module and Processor have all of your commands. ?Same protocol as the RS232.
