TV One Option connection

Has anyone worked with a TV One scaler (in this case a C2-2355a) connected via the option cable to an S2-105PCA? If so, can you confirm that if you set the output of the C2 to any RGB input 1) Does it automatically set the S2 to the input you select? 2) Does it automatically switch the C2 to the RGB input?

Just getting the framework together for a system and the protocol/documentation is confusing to me.

I haven't worked with one yet, but have been seeing them pop in to consultant designed projects a lot. I think they are using it mostly to strip HDCP, scale, and output as Analog. I'd be interested in hearing about hands on experiences with them.

My application is to cross scale between analog rgbhv and SDI inputs to analog rgbhv and SDI outputs. I pulled the products and hooked them up this morning (controlling via tcp/ip). The switching worked just fine, the S2 and C2 product switches automatically.

I'll post back about the quality when the project is complete.
