Roland M-300
digging up an old one here - does anyone have a module or code chunk they wouldn't mind sharing for a Roland M-300 mixing console? We're going to do RS-232 control. The thread below mentions some possible reliability issues. Thanks in advance for any help/code/tips you can offer!

I've got a module that'll recall scenes (and provide feedback for same) on a

Running the fader up and down on the touch panel while the fader moved on the console. It also has MIDI control which is much more reliable than the RS232. Other than that if a live console is not needed I like using the Biamp Audia and Nexia. that would be fantastic!

I did a Roland switch a few years back, I didn't have a module since all I was doing was recalling presets, selecting inputs and performing an Auto Take. The protocol was pretty straight forward. Controlled mine over RS232.?
Preset commands were PSE:0; PSE:1 PSE:2, etc.?
Auto Take was ATO:0,TAKE SW1:AUTO TAKE;
Selecting Input 1 to Output 1 was OAV:0,0;
Selecting Input 2 to output 1 was OAV:0,1;
Selecting Input 1 to output 2 was OAV:1,0;
Hope this helps.

Just use the Roland m-300 ipad app On Fri, Apr 12, 2024, 4:11?PM <lordryanshire@...> wrote: Unfortunately im controlling faders, mutes, and aux levels so i was looking for something that included level feedback since the end user will be using our touch panels for control through the crestron to the mixer and an iPad for direct control of the mixer. Thanks for the strings though Steve. |
