Batteries on TPMC8X

Heath Volmer

I have a client who has TPMC 8Xs with worn out internal batteries. I am under the impression that the external battery pack has more juice than the internal one. Can I just add the externals and leave the worn out internals, or does the internal need to be replaced first?

Thanks, Heath

The batteries don't work simultaneously, they work one after the other. Meaning when the first battery is exhausted (battery gauge at half), it goes to the second one (battery gauge empty). If the internal is always dead, your battery meter will only show half full. Aside from that all I know is that my kids toys tell me not to mix old and new batteries :)
