CP4 Network issues

Edited

Hello everybody,
?
Got a CP4 here on the latest firmware (2.8005.12) that for whatever reason won't take a program load. It takes ages for the "time remaining" to go away but after the fact it still acts like it has no program and is offline with my touchpanel, however, I can still connect to it in toolbox and web interface.
?
Looking at the back of the CP4, the "LAN" port's yellow light flashes intermittently and the green one isn't coming on at all. I have tested the ethernet cable and it is good, and I am about to wave a white flag and call TB. I am just curious if anyone else has seen this, because this isn't the first time I've had an issue like this with specifically the CP4.
?
Thanks in advance for your input.
?
EDIT: Called Crestron, we discovered it was something wrong with one of my simpl+ modules so I did a "recompile all" and then loaded the program through file manager in toolbox instead of from Simpl, and it seems to be working now. Still showing some symptoms of this issue here and there but not as persistent. I'm not really sure what the beef is.

Try using FTP and progload
and Telnet for any comms
?
Well documented issues with 4 series acting erratically
?
Also - do you have any ports currently forwarded through a router to that box? If so, close them.

I have run into something similar before. Its recommended to stop all programs on 4 series before loading new code. I exclusively load code from the webportal. My recommendation would be to stop the program, unregister it and then send new code..
?
Hope that helps?

No router or anything it's just on a small standalone switch along with the TS-1070 and Biamp. Is this documentation on their website somewhere?
?
EDIT: Think I found it on the list of crestron's known issues. 4 series control systems and this same firmware version, wonder what causes it but it looks like they're working on a fix (hopefully).

Happy to know it's not just me. Thank you

If you haven't already done so, the first thing I recommend is replacing the power supply. I've had a couple 3-series processors exhibit those exact symptoms and the power supply was the culprit.

Thank you Tony, I did try a factory reset which didn't help so the power supply was my next suspect. I think I have an extra kicking it around the shop here somewhere that I will try. If issues persist I'll probably call them and go from there which I was trying to avoid lol.
?
EDIT: Replaced power supply with one that I know is good/working and still getting same issues. Time to call TB :)

I will echo what @MQSACK said, use ftp to transfer the compiled program to the processor then use SSH to connect and issue the "progload -p:x" to load the program.? What this gives you is visibility as to what is happening during program load.? This might give yuou more information as to what the problem is.? One of the deficiencies in using toolbox (Simpl Windows Transfer uses toolbox) for this is the lack of visibility as to what is happening under the covers.
