TPS-3000L to TSW-1070 touchpanel mounting plate
I have a project with many TPS-3000L that we are upgrading to TSW-1070.? ?With the age of the 3000 panel there is not a retrofit mounting bracket from Crestron.? Also the size of the 3000 rough opening is pretty much the same height as the 1070, which means our mounting plate will need to be taller than the new panel.
?
Has anyone ever made a custom mounting plate for this scenario?? Curious on if any has done this and what they ended up using.
?
Thanks! |
We did one the other day in a custom lectern.? Used a black acrylic sheet to mount in the old opening and provide a mounting hole for the new TP.? Looked great.? Find a local fabricator who can laser cut it, or use SendCutSend. On Wed, Jan 29, 2025 at 8:01?AM benchristoffels via <benchristoffels=[email protected]> wrote:

I'm not sure what they settled on.? 5mm would be solid.? 3mm might be too flexible depending on how much of the wood it overlaps and how gorilla-fisted your users are. On Wed, Jan 29, 2025 at 1:45?PM benchristoffels via <benchristoffels=[email protected]> wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou might consider Wall-Smart, if you can make it work the result is really good looking and the panel doesn't stick out off the wall like it normally would. ?If there is a back-box you might need to use a bit of imagination, but we just did a place with tps-6ls that had been built with the tps-6bb and was finished with plaster (very expensive to repair) and we were able to either remove the boxes or butcher up the wall-smart to fit around the boxes. ?
