I don't think anyone will truly be sad about this, Sonos is a total nightmare to keep stable after deployment.
 

Just another example of failure in this "partnership". Sonos really screwed the pooch on this update of theirs. Now all these clients that insisted on Sonos and wouldnt listen to us are stuck with a half working solution.?

Although I am a bit interested to see what they mean by this, and as usual it only mentions Home and not Crestron in general (grrrrrr):
Looking ahead, we are planning enhancements to the Sonos experience within Crestron Home in 2025. These enhancements will include support for the new Sonos Search API, enabling you to search for Sonos content directly within the Crestron Home interface. We will share more details about these enhancements, including timing, as they become available.

Just discontinue Sonos already and let some billionaire who cares on a deeply personal level to rescue it, flip it on its head, and save it for about two months before a new shinier competing product that buries Sonos alive and pisses on its grave simply in principle.
 

To be clear, this just affects the Sonos App running on x70 panels. the MPO communication still works (as best as it ever did...)
We stopped integrating with Sonos a year ago...

I'm glad I have a client that upgraded his x60's to x70's in his two homes a couple years ago to maintain the Sonos app functionality when it crapped out on the 60 panels.
he was kinda ticked when things stopped working 6 months ago... I'm looking forward to telling him that it ain't coming back...:(
