Pro2 compact flash question.

I have a little smart graphics fun project that I'm trying to load onto a Pro2.? Getting a insufficient memory message when I try to load.? According to what I read, the memory slot on the back can handle up to a 4GB compact flash card.? Perhaps 15 years ago, 4GB might have been readily available but these days not so. Locally, the smallest available is 64GB.? What would happen if I install a larger one?? Only recognize it as 4GB or puke on it??

I have used larger ones just fine. I don't know about 64 though. I think the largest I used was a 32

Edited

I ordered and installed a 4GB memory card because that's what the manual says it's max is.? The little tiny test program loads just fine as expected but the single page smart graphics project still won't load to the processor.? When I look at the processor in toolbox, it shows the memory card is installed.? Is there something in setup that I'm missing to use it.? It loads perfectly to a Pro3 but I don't want it there.

It is a toolbox issue. Try a toolbox from 5+years ago.
You can copy them manually but you would need to create a couple of files. Much easier to just load the old toolbox

Been bouncing around Crestron site.? Where does one find older versions of software.? I fired up a really old laptop of mine and still have Viewport on it but no older versions of toolbox.

Ftp.crestron.com
You could probably use viewport

Ran into this a while back and was stumped - thanks Eric....

What am I looking for that might be on viewport or a older version of toolbox that isn't in the latest up to date version of toolbox?

I'm loosing my mind? When I look at this pro2 with a 4GB memory card installed in system info, it says memory installed BUT it also says 4KB of 1860.1 MB used.? 4GB should show over 4,000MB correct?

Pull out the CF card and check the partitions on a PC. IIRC those older little two series had a limitation on how large the compact flash partitions could be. something makes me think it was a 2 GB maximum size support officially.

I ran into an issue like this, could not load an updated SG iPad project onto a Pro2 with a CF card installed.

It is a Toolbox issue and TB does not seem to want to fix it as the hardware is too old to support.

I started downloading older versions and found one that worked:
I was still able to load to the CF on the Pro2 with Toolbox v 3.05.233.
I jumped to Toolbox v 3.0920.0042.0 (what a version number!) and it no longer works - Removeable Media option is grayed out.
HTH,
David

I've never had to deal with adding memory.? I have a older version of toolbox now.? Bouncing around but not seeing where to set up the flash card.? Where in toolbox should I see this? The only place I see it is at the top of the functions menu and the only choice is to enable auto run.
