TSR-310 - Comcast Driver
Greetings, I've recently embarked on integrating the Crestron Xfinity IP Driver with voice control capabilities using a TSR-310 remote. Although the setup is mostly operational, I'm encountering two specific problems related to voice control that I hope to get some insight on: Voice Command Error: After registering my TSR-310 with the control processor, which is connected to Amazon for voice services, I encounter an issue. Each time I use the voice command feature (press and release the voice button on the TSR-310), I receive an error message stating "Internal error, request failed." This occurs despite the remote and processor seemingly being properly connected and authenticated. Display Issue with Voice Capture: I have successfully connected the voice capture result feedback (fb) to the Voice_SendVoice input of the TV Tuner Ethernet Driver. Upon activating the talk button, the Comcast "listening" overlay appears on the display, indicating the system is ready to receive voice input. However, the transcribed text from the voice capture does not appear on the display, even though it is visible within the Simpl debugger. I'm uncertain if these issues are interconnected or separate matters. I've confirmed that the TSR-310 is appropriately registered with the control processor, and the integration settings for the Amazon voice service seem correct. Additionally, the voice capture feedback does trigger the expected Comcast interface response, but the lack of displayed text remains puzzling. Any guidance, troubleshooting tips, or advice on resolving these issues would be greatly appreciated. I'm keen to understand whether I'm overlooking a setup detail or if there's a more technical obstacle at play. Thank you in advance for your help and expertise. ? |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou can control devices attached to Alexa using a Hubitat Elevation hub as a gateway.? The process is to create a virtual contact sensor on the Hubitat.? The software on my GitHub provides the ability for the Crestron sensor to open/close that contact sensor.? The built-in integration between the Hubitat and Alexa then allows you to create routines on Alexa that are triggered by the change in state of the contact sensor. This, and more, is all described in the article I wrote that you can find here: Hope this helps Jay On 3/9/2024 10:43 PM,

I figured out the first part, I was assuming I could control anything attached to Alexa. |

the drive states which models work with voice.Where did you find this info? Have you found a help file? the demo program that I just downloaded didn't have any PDFs in the Zip... The only module in the file is the (crap) CCD TV Tuner Ethernet v2.2 (cm) whose help file is generic (unless I missed something) TIA! |
Look at my message from March 12th. You need the Crestron¡¯s driver. The driver has a help file. The link I provided is to the driver help file that has voice control. The help file states which boxes work with voice. If you don¡¯t have one of the listed boxes, you need a different driver for ip control.
