Re: HD-MD8X2 questions

Re: HD-MD8X2 questions
In order for it to respond after a power outage or reboot, I have to physically press the "route" button on the front panel.? Then it will respond to commands remotely.

Re: Extron GCP universal drivers controlling NVX endpoint
Exactly what Jason said. I tried this experiment before, not with NVX, but just generic 2-way communication from Extron to 'whatever'. I was told, 3 times, by Extron, that if there isn't a driver for

Re: Extron GCP universal drivers controlling NVX endpoint
Well, that's an interesting idea.? I guess this also makes sense for this application, since I am trying to simulate basic matrix switcher functions via NVX.? That will also simplify my approach to

Re: Extron GCP universal drivers controlling NVX endpoint
Any time I've had to communicate between GCP and Crestron I've found it's better to use a known GCP driver rather than the generic, as the generic doesn't allow 2 way communication. Typically I use an

Re: Extron GCP universal drivers controlling NVX endpoint
I ended up going with an RMC3 being a middle man.
I hooked up the IPCP 550 and RMC3 via RS232 and used the universal projector rs232 bidirectional driver.
It seems that the RMC3 isn't at all picky

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure how that might be helpful for my specific
question.
I'm not trying to integrate with Compool, which that site appears to document.
There's already a Crestron

I would have agreed that Director saves time setting up and updating NVX's originally, but since the release of the NVXTool, most of the needed setup functionality that made the Director worthwhile

Re: Pentair Screenlogic
Tony,
If you are going to try to control the Pentair EasyTouch directly, you don't need an adapter. The Pentair bus is just RS485. The other day I connected a din-ap3 to a EasyTouch to test control.
