Profiling performance with while(1) loops
What is the best way to profile CPU utilization with a program with while(1) loops in Simpl+ modules (2 series)? Top command seems to spread the cpu utilization across all the modules with while(1) loops. Is there another utility to do this? ?Or a way to run top and have it ignore 'wait' cpu time? thanks |

I've used the rs232 to DMX engine from Engineering Solutions on several projects. ?
Its been pretty rock solid haven't had any issues with them.

Just ran across the article below. Apparently Spotify has some crappy API management and killed some pieces that devices like the MMS relied on. All Spotify's fault, not autonomics or Squeezebox.

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýYou just need to setup an RSD export in the equipment list. In the properties of the export you can select the devices to include and the IP of the cp3. I have not used this feature yet to force a specific resolution but I will check into it. I know that the boxes are broadcasting 1080i but this issue even happens when watching an HD channel.?
Someone told me that I will probably need a signal booster for the cable boxes.I didn't want to get the cable company involved because they see A/V racks as monsters and will probably say that I am the one causing the problem. OBS: It seems like I just resolved the authentication problem by unplugging everything, even the DM switcher and plugging everything back again. NO Errors so far. Now I have to wait and see it the TVs will not flicker again. |

Autonomics search function with crestron media player app
When using the Crestron Media Player App with an Autonomics MMS5a, searching for albums that begin with numbers does not seem to work, e.g. Adeles "21", "100 running songs", etc. Searching using the number in the Mirage App does work so I'm guessing its not an issue with the Autonomics unit, but the Crestron interface into it. Other non-letter searches seem to be okay - ?Ed Sheerans "+" album does come up when searching for +. Its just the albums beginning with numbers that don't seem to work. Anyone else experienced this or have a work around? TIA Nick |

I am using Cat5e going to all the room boxes DM-RMC-200-C. Inputs are 3 calbe boxes, 1 amazon Fire TV, 1 Blu-ray player and 1 Apple TV. In dmtools i was watching the routing and it was doing the proper routing. like i said, all the displays shows the image but sometimes it flickers for 3 seconds and after it goes back to normal. but this only happens with the cable boxes not the other sources. exactly... a sigle crestlight button is driving two modules and the added logic is working...? I've done it in that way because I need to operate with groups of lamps or if I need, with a single slider inside a panel or a scenario buffer.. Thank you, your module is very helpful for me... |

How to make the DIN-AP3 with project created on D3 Pro integrate with CP3 processor
I have a lighting project created in D3 Pro, but now I need it to communicate with SIMPL project inside the CP3 Processor. This is the first time that I am using a projet in D3 Pro because I have lots of lighting switches and modules I figure that it would be easier using the D3 Pro. Any help is appreciated. Thank you |

I have - but haven't played with it much yet - the KissBox DMX interface - might be worth checking out.? Have it controlling a multicolor, multisegment LED bar currently.? Personal thing, so - haven't had as much time as I wish. ? - Chip |

I made that module but I guess I'm having a hard time understanding. The module has a single analog output that connects to the dimmer device. So it would seem that because there is only one analog signal, the lights must necessarily follow it. Maybe you are using two of the onebutton modules, driven by a single button? Single button dimmer
Hi everyone, I'm using in my project the "Dimmer?ramp & presets for single button light control jasonwmelvin?May 22, 2010" macro downloaded from this group. Everything is fine but when I'm using it for a group of two ballast and one of the is off (es. when with a panel slider I get it off) if I press the ON/OFF single button, one ballast is going on and viceversa for the other. This is my solution for this issue: I've inserted a True table that checks if the couple of ballast are on or off it works as an usual on/off function an if one of the two ballasts is on it sends a 0d analog signal to the corresponding input DIN DALI ballast level...
