Re: Yamaha YSP-5100
I did one of those about 5 years ago and I'm pretty sure I had to send that before any comms worked.
I went through similar pain as your are back then. Looking back through my notes from then I used 9600,8,1,N and hardware RTS/CTS handshaking set on the comm port device settings dialog. |

Re: Mobotix T25 -> Doorbell Trigger
If you read through the entire thread, Kevin Hawkins' reply on 3/29/14 describes the solution.

I did a system with one of these a couple of years ago, that also required a "doorbell" trigger. Someone else setup the "IP Notify" option in the Mobotix camera, but in the Crestron program I added a TCP/IP Server symbol for port 8003, then connected its Rx$ output to an SIO to match whatever string(s) they defined. --- On Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 12:19 AM, steveita wrote: |

Re: HAI/Leviton security interface issue
No, HAI hasn't changed their RS-232 protocol. Most likely, the panel has "locked-out" the serial port, after five invalid log-in attempts (with wrong PC Access code).

To resolve it, make sure you have the correct PC Access code in the Crestron program, then power down both the HAI panel and the Crestron processor. Wait about 45 seconds then power-up the HAI panel first, wait another 30 seconds then power-up the Crestron processor. All should be good after that, assuming there are no other issues (which there shouldn't be, since it was working before the swap). --- On Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 7:40 AM, Steve wrote: |

TSW-1052 Subpagefor the thermostat CHV-TSTAT not clearing
Hello Folks, I am trying to understand why does every time that I wake up the touch panel or if I upload a project into the MC3 when the touch panel comes back online the sub-page of the thermostat to increase and decrease the temperature shows up on the screen by itself. Thank you |

HAI/Leviton security interface issue
A client recently had his HAI Omni Pro security panel replaced after a lightning strike took it out.? Even after changing the PC access code to the value set by the installer, the Crestron RS232? interface cannot log into the security.? I am communicating to the HAI panel but when the Log in command is sent to the panel, the panel reports back an negative acknowledge meaning an invalid pc access code.? Does any one know if HAI/Leviton changed their protocol? |

Re: Yamaha YSP-5100
I tried the reporting command if that's what that is... it looks similar. What does that enable? Does nothing work until you send that command or is that just to enable feedback reporting? I would have thought, from looking at the manual, that things like the power on/off/toggle commands should work regardless no? Re: (OT) Door lock suggestions.
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAn electronic leverset is a necessity at my house.? My wife and I are out mountain biking, skiing, etc and don't want to risk losing our keys and locking ourselves out of the house.? Living in a resort town we also have frequent guests and need an easy way for them to come and go.I've now had 3 electronic door locks at my house.? First a simple push button combo lock.? When Crestron added the Leviton Z Wave controller integration I replaced that lock with a supported Z-Wave Lock.? Finally I replaced the Z-Wave lock with the Crestron Yale lock.? The first push button lock worked fine but didn't offer any integration.? The Z-Wave system was a kludge.? It worked fine as a standalone lock but the integration was on the flakey side. ? The Crestron Yale lock is more that worth the price of admission. Jay On 2/24/2016 8:19 PM, Lincoln
