Re: Crestron Go help needed
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi ThorstenIn the Crestron Go settings there is an option to allow access to the local network. This can randomly be turned off by default, but not in all cases weirdly. Good luck. Justyn On 15 Apr 2023, at 12:01, Thorsten K?hler <thorsten.koehler@...> wrote:

Crestron Go help needed
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi, ? i need to get a project up and running using the Crestron Go app. Some help on the basic steps are much appreciated. ? What I did so far: 2) Created a VTP project with ¡°Crestron app¡± as panel (just one page). Projectname matches project file name. 3) Added Crestron Go app to the SIMPL program. Projectname ¡°Crestron Go Project Name¡± matches the VTP name. 4) uploaded SIMPL program and uploaded the VTP-project to the processor. 5) added a user with ¡°connect¡± rights to the processor, authentication is enabled. 6) configured the user above into the Crestron app incl. the other information (processor IP etc.) 7) clicking on the processor in the app shows ¡°Connecting to System¡± and that?s it. ? iPhone and processor are on different subnets, but ping between processor and iphone works (vice versa). I?m also having trouble connecting via Toolbox to the Go-app (which should be possible I understand). ? Any ideas? ? Thanks, Thorsten ? |

Re: Strange SRL behavior
I'm using a bunch of SRLs, both horizontal and vertical in my VTPro projects, and I have run into weirdness occasionally where if one object is sent some text which overflows its intended boundaries, the SRL seems to shift the text on every other button to try to account for this. Are you using the indirect text serial join to send text or are you defining a serial join for the text inside the label itself on the button? In my experience, I have never gotten the indirect text serial join to respond to formatting coming from the control program, but a serial join defined in the label would.

Re: Strange SRL behavior
I'm using a bunch of vertical SRL in my current project and haven't seen that behaviour.? I'm running whatever the latest is available through master installer.
Do you happen to have both the indirect text join AND also defined embedded within the text editor on the SRL subpage? |
MC3 SD card image
I was hoping someone could provide me with an MC3 SD card image/ My office test MC3 processor sh*t the bed on a power cycle. I thought I had one on a drive somewhere stashed but I can't find it for the life of me. DM me, please if you can accommodate. I'll change the MAC on it to my original once imaged.

Strange SRL behavior
Having trouble with SRLs A horizontal list insisted on showing 30pt font, regardless of what font size was chosen. Tried both the edit dialog and html tags. Tried a vertical list which tricked me into thinking it was working. It showed the text correctly until I added the join increments, then only the text on the 1st subpage in the list showed correctly. All subsequent subpages the text is shifted downward. I am using current VtPro 6.2.02, and SG 2.18.00.40.
What am I missing? |
Re: TSW-760
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIirc some of the early scheduling panels could be flipped to be fully functional panels (particularly the version with the integrated light bar) with the 70s and I believe 60s the only difference is software and the TSS are cheaper than the
fully featured panels so it would not be in Crestrons best interest to all you to make a TSS a TSW...
That aid it would be really nice if there was an "upgrade" license (say the cost difference plus a few %) to let you upgrade if a client decides the scheduling panels functionalit isn't quite what they're looking for?
