It should be in the vacinity of 50k IIRC.

Re: Duplicating UI programming workflow in Simpl - Issues with CRPC Smart Graphics

Ha! I guess that's another built in "feature." I don't feel like it's 100% consistent though. This morning I was trying to recreate the "helpful" behavior your describing that got me yesterday, but this morning it wasn't moving them - just creating duplicates in a new folder.

I like the workflow though! Thanks for sharing!

Re: Duplicating UI programming workflow in Simpl - Issues with CRPC Smart Graphics

I generally do:
1) Duplicate Device Programming
2) Delete "Smart Graphics Modules" folder
3) Copy/rename logic folder

If you use duplicate on a device that already has connected modules, it "helpfully" moves all of your modules into the new folder...

Re: Samsung Frame CEC mismatches

I think Samsung has changed the behavior at some point. I don't remember what year, but I'm pretty sure originally, CEC turned the Frame off completely. This years model goes to Art mode.

Re: Samsung Frame CEC mismatches

I've actually had the opposite problem - only being able to turn the Frames completely off via CEC, and not being able to get into Art Mode. However, it's been over a year since I actually tried it.

I'll test a couple of things on-site today, but would love it if someone already has specific commands that work reliably.

\x40\x36 but that only puts it into ART mode, not actually off...

I've tried \x40\x44\x6C and \x40\x44\x40 but no luck so far....

Duplicating UI programming workflow in Simpl - Issues with CRPC Smart Graphics

Has anyone figured out the secret sauce for duplicating UI programming in Simpl? I'm thinking specifically as it relates to CRPC stuff (Media Player Object, TV Presets, Pyng Lighting, and Pyng Shades). Do you right click, duplicate device programming hardware definitions first, then copy/paste/F9 UI programming in Logic folder? Logic folder then hardware definition?

I realize either way, I'm going to get the Smart Graphics Modules folder, but sometimes it changes the signal prefix from my tpXXX to Slot-05-IP-ID..etc... and sometimes it doesn't. I thought by having the logic folders and corresponding in place before duplicating the definitions, Simpl would keep my prefixes, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

The other thing I've had happen a couple times is Simpl deletes these modules (Media Server Object Router, TV Presets CRPC Interface, or CRPC Serial Client Interfaces) from my logic folders. I guess that wouldn't be a problem if my default behavior wasn't to immediately delete the newly created Smart Graphics Modules folder after all duplication/F9 stuff, but typically they're duplicates.

Just thought I'd poll the audience this morning to see if I'm going about this all wrong or if anyone has cracked the code on how to predict Simpl's behavior as it relates to duplicating UI programming with CRPC objects. TIA!

Jonathan

The new v6.03 Cisco Room Devices module is now part of your Crestron database. Make sure your database is updated and you should find it in the "Crestron Modules -> Conferencing" folder in SIMPL.

Crestron just released a new Cisco Room Devices demo program yesterday. Get it at Crestron.com

Elusive Cisco Room Devices 4.0

Good morning group -

We are working on a project with a Cisco WebEx Room Kit Plus and I have seen reference to the?Cisco Room Devices 4.0 module on Marketplace and I cannot seem to find this module.? I have the?Cisco Room Devices 3.4 module (which will not compile due to outdated dependencies).? Does anyone have the?Cisco Room Devices 4.0 module they can share or point me to the right location for this module?

Any assistance would be helpful.

Thanks -?

Hi All?
Does anyone know what the OHM rating on CHV-RSS Slab Probe Is

All Help is greatly appreciated

Re: CHV-RSS Ohm Rating

All Crestron tstat sensors are data driven, which is why shielded cat is recommended by many. There is no ohm rating.

The current generation of Samsung Frames can be reliably controlled using CEC, but your CEC source needs to be "unregistered". I suggest using the following:
?
Power on - \xF0\x04
Power off - \xF0\x36
?
However, on the latest generation of Samsung Frame, art mode should be considered the standard off state. The only way to get the TV into a "full off" state is a press and hold from the IR remote control.
?
If the TVs are in spaces where they need to be dark like bedrooms, then you will need to use the Samsung art settings to adjust when art is shown. There are settings for motion detection, ambient light level and if memory serves, time ranges as well.

Re: Samsung Frame CEC mismatches

Thanks Phil,
?
Afraid that's what we've tried along with everything else, have tried broadcast addresses and different source addresses to no avail.
?
Doesn't help that it seems like control via CEC is intermittent as well...
?
Hopefully lightning will strike and I'll either figure it out - or maybe take out the TVs so I can get in something better instead!
?
If anyone else has run across this and has a resolution - would be gratefully received....

IIRC on these you first have to select HDMI 1 and then power off.

Re: How to get C# trigger a method based on event from Simpl+

I don't see any object references in that code, so it would be something in CalculateX or CalculateY.? If you can catch the exception in ButtonPress you can print the full stack trace to console, or you can use S# Debugging to trace it down more accurately.
