Re: 4 Volume output Feedback to One Gauge/Slider
#simplwindows
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýPretty much.? You can pass the output of the slider to the zone and pass the feedback from the zone to the slider. ? From: <[email protected]> on behalf of Corbin Lovering <Corbin.Lovering@...> ? Am I correct in this thinking? 4 buffers one for each room Feedback, enable is driven by the value of the room/room selected digital signal that is selected. Then the input analog signal is the zone feedback from the amp, out of the buffer into say "Volume_Level" feeding the analog join of the slider/gauge. ? Then repeat the steps for zone 2-4 and have the same "Volume_Level" out into the slider? |
DIN-8SW8-I & VC4 ?
Hi guys,?
I have? DIN-8SW8 light modules, the project was initially designed to work with a RMC4 processor however again due to the crazy lead times we are forced to explore alternative solutions. Hence i was wondering if there is a means where we could use a VC4 to work with this lighting modules, even if it means introduction of another crestron device that is readily available? Kindly advise. |
Re: Serial Number via Text Console
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI don¡¯t disagree but keep in mind ver -v is uninterpreted data and also changing the format of the response could break other things that are dependent on a response to a particular command being in a particular format/having things in a particular place. Perhaps adding something like a VER -VV could solve this¡ ? The System Info tool (I think the only tool I have less use for in Toolbox is the DVPHD Tool) does a lot of data interpretation for you including parsing VER -V (or a similar command) and applying the conversion formula. Part of (most of?) the slow speed of the tool is it has to query for every one of the elements it displays [even if you don¡¯t care about 90% of them], parse the results and then render the display. ? Re: Quick video streaming question - TSW1060 - Hikvision
Or you could use a video server that can combine multiple streams and play out as one.
Before you ask: no, i don?t have good recommendation for a product that can do that. I started to research some time ago, but it wasn?t necessary at the end (snapshots where OK for the client at that time). Cheers, Thorsten |
Quick video streaming question - TSW1060 - Hikvision
Hi guys,
Before I mess around with my system at home too much,? can anyone quickly tell me if its possible to have multiple video streams playing simultaneously on a TSW1060?? Id like to have 2-3 thumbnail previews of different cameras on screen at once.? Would be awesome if they were actually live views rather than snapshots.? Very low res from the camera h264 substreams (hikvision).? Would be awesome to have the driveway, front gate and front door cams on screen in live view on my access control page.? ? Cheers guys!? |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýAnalog Buffer. ? From: <[email protected]> on behalf of <Corbin.Lovering@...> ? Greetings. I've decided to take a step back from control Crosspoint's until I can understand how to make a system dumb and work to understand how it all works. I have a C2N-AMP-4x100, I have 4 test rooms, 3 sources and one volume slider or gauge if I need to. Based on room value at the time of volume presses I then feed that analog signal into the room volume of the amp. Those symbols consist of a toggle, analog ramp, and an OR for unmute purposes. I have analog join 1 for the slider, and 4 analog output feedbacks out of the amp I would like to feed that one slider.? |
VTPro-e crash when starts
Guys, I am getting crazy. Suddenly VTPro-e decided to crash right after the loading bar completes at the start of the software. I tried : Uninstall all of crestron apps and re-install them from Master Installer. Unplug my HDMI monitors from PC. Change resolution. Change graphics card settings. Any ideas?

4 Volume output Feedback to One Gauge/Slider

Is there anything I missed to control volume, or to make it better? Is there a good way to take Room1-4 volume level Feedbacks into one slider assuming there is only one room volume controlled from my TSR-310 at a time? |
Re: 3 Series Comparison
Agreed, RMC3 (with exception to ports and gateway)...
The MC3 was kind of an interim processor bridging between 2- and 3-series, i.e. the first chassis with the 3-series tech. It started its life as a transitional processor in the Prodigy line (PMC3), then was brought out as the MC3 for standard programming (though you could put SMW programs in the PMC3 after a couple years). I would guess that the specs on both chassis are the same/similar but the MC3 has had a number of issues over recent years... |
Re: DGE100 browser and touchpanel wake
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Dave, ? that?s actually the approach i was starting with. ? Regardless of would I do, triggering the ¡°wake¡± signal of the DGE?s SleepWake Manager opens a new empty tab (or layer when in kiosk mode) instead of just waking up and showing the screen that was up before it went to sleep. ? This is driving me nuts¡ ? ? Von: [email protected] <[email protected]> Im Auftrag von Dave H - Crestron TS ? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHands down - Use the RMC3 as it is a fantastic processor. I own 2 of them and it runs my house.Steer far away from the MC3 - it is junk. Mike? On Feb 24, 2023, at 9:30 PM, AVMaster <AVMaster619@...> wrote:

Scraping the very bottom of the barrel, I have a system that is supposed to get a CP4¡which isn¡¯t supposed to arrive for another 5 months. ?My temporary options are an MC3 or a RMC3. ?All things aside, which of these is the superior processor from a number crunching standpoint? ?I¡¯ve used a hundred MC3¡¯s over the years but very few RMC3. ?The demands aren¡¯t going to be anything dramatic but I was curious what the performance difference tween these 2 units might be¡thoughts?
