Re: Online Help

I spoke to TB about it today as I've had a case open for a while (and I think Chris K has mentioned it a few times).
They're aware of the problem - apparently it's not the same for everyone.

Earlier I was able to get into my cases by clicking around "Email Us" and other tabs, but even that seems to be fruitless now :(

Re: TSW-1052 reset

Use the reset 10 time procedure --

Press the reset button on the back when the Crestron logo is displayed during boot
Repeat 10 times
Choose restore on the menu that pops up

(I'm logged in to OLH but search is giving me horribly wrong results -- I thought there was another step involved but that's from memory so...)

I have a TSW-1052 with authentication enabled, and no one wrote down or can remember the credentials. I have physical access to the panel, but don't know what the procedure is for defaulting it, without using Toolbox. Can someone tell me?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Cisco SX80 not allowing more than one call

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

That is odd; if you manually build a dial command (outside of the module) and send it does it by chance work?

?

Wondering if perhaps the module rather than the codec is getting confused about the call state

?

Lincoln,

?

Thanks for the reply.

The crazy thing is that I¡¯m not getting an error.

I¡¯m also utilizing the hangup all calls.

It¡¯s like the codec is ignoring all new call commands.

The module stays connected and I can use camera controls or other features.

It¡¯s literally just trying to initiate a new call after hanging up from the previous.

Is it possible you aren¡¯t cleanly disconnecting the first call and if the codec isn¡¯t licensed for multipoint because it thinks it¡¯s still in a call it won¡¯t allow an additional call. If you issue the hang up all command before (not just ¡°hang up call 1¡±, etc.) that might help to clean the deck.

Hello All,

Has anyone seen an issue with an SX80 only allowing you to make one call and then having to reboot it before you can dial/make another call from the Crestron panel?
You can still make calls using the touch 10 no problem.?
We have updated firmware on the codec as well as rolled it back to see if that was the issue.
I can't seem to find what the problem is.?

Is anyone else having trouble logging into Online Help (support.crestron.com) ?
I've tried several times over the last couple of days, on three different

continues to show I'm not logged in. The main site works fine.

Re: Long copper run and NVX

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I believe one retrofit project I did the network design/configuration/commissioning for we had one run (Cat5-pre-E) with a cable run in the ¡°it might have actually been slightly longer than 300 ft/100 meter¡± range and the NVX device at the end of the cable (pretty sure it was a D30) has had no issues. I think that might have even been with PoE but I¡¯m a little foggy on the physical details since that was largely beyond my responsibility.

?

Over that distance I¡¯d be more concerned about PoE if you were going to try to use it, particularly PoE++/UPOE-type power consumption than data integrity, but since you mentioned having fiber I can assume you¡¯re planning on locally powering anyway.

?

Of course using a proper cable certifier to make sure the cable and terminations are completely happy with the world is always a good idea.

Re: Time from an Analog

Thanks Guys!

Phil, yes an SG panel and that was what I was looking/hoping for. Formats just as I wanted...? I'm using the (cm) CountDown Timer module.
When initially triggers, the analog populates as expected (xx:yy:zz), However, as the seconds count down (I see it decrementing in Debug) the display does not change. until I hit the STOP button on the CDTimer. At this point the display updates to the current time.

If I send values in DBg directly,? the display updates.
If I set up an Analog Increment with a 1d increment value, the Display counts as expected!!
I put the CDT Analog thru ABUFs and even though the values change in DBg, the display doesn't until the Timer is stopped.
?Its as if the Display object knows that the Analog decrement is coming from the CDT vs. my manual triggers - this of course doesn't make any sense!!

? ?Any ideas??? TIA!

Sorry a little mistake

The calculation is the following :
Seconds = TotalTime % 60
Minutes = TotalTime / 60 % 60
Hours = TotalTime? / 3600 % 3600

I believe what Thorsten is saying is that in the existing program they¡¯re currently being used as Ethernet IO devices (along the lines of a QM-RMC in ESlave mode without the processing power) ¨C I may or may not have done this at home from time to time for some quick and dirty IO¡

?

Since DM-RMC-100s only support a single Ethernet master IP table entry, because they¡¯re being used that way in the existing program he can¡¯t also have them directly talking to the ¡°new¡± program/processor at the same time ¨C so if he wants to be able to keep the old program running while testing new programming (or moving chunks of logic at a time) an EISC is needed to pipeline control between the two masters.

thanks for the suggestion, but that would be bit over the top.

There are a couple of RMC-100 and they are not even used for HDMI, but only for IR/RS232.
