Re: Online Help
I spoke to TB about it today as I've had a case open for a while (and I think Chris K has mentioned it a few times).
They're aware of the problem - apparently it's not the same for everyone. Earlier I was able to get into my cases by clicking around "Email Us" and other tabs, but even that seems to be fruitless now :( |

Re: Cisco SX80 not allowing more than one call
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThat is odd; if you manually build a dial command (outside of the module) and send it does it by chance work? ? Online Help
Is anyone else having trouble logging into Online Help (support.crestron.com) ?
I've tried several times over the last couple of days, on three different browsers, cleared the cache/cookies, etc., and it accepts my credentials then continues to show I'm not logged in. The main site works fine. |

Re: Long copper run and NVX
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI believe one retrofit project I did the network design/configuration/commissioning for we had one run (Cat5-pre-E) with a cable run in the ¡°it might have actually been slightly longer than 300 ft/100 meter¡± range and the NVX device at the end of the cable (pretty sure it was a D30) has had no issues. I think that might have even been with PoE but I¡¯m a little foggy on the physical details since that was largely beyond my responsibility. ? Over that distance I¡¯d be more concerned about PoE if you were going to try to use it, particularly PoE++/UPOE-type power consumption than data integrity, but since you mentioned having fiber I can assume you¡¯re planning on locally powering anyway. ? Of course using a proper cable certifier to make sure the cable and terminations are completely happy with the world is always a good idea. ? Lincoln -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? Re: Cisco SX80 not allowing more than one call
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýCan¡¯t say I have ¨C though most of my recent Cisco codecs have had the touch 10 as the only dialing control and using a Crestron processor (no TP) as an interface to lighting/shades/HVAC and AV automation) ¨C what error do you get back from the CLI when you try the 2nd call ? ? Is it possible you aren¡¯t cleanly disconnecting the first call and if the codec isn¡¯t licensed for multipoint because it thinks it¡¯s still in a call it won¡¯t allow an additional call. If you issue the hang up all command before (not just ¡°hang up call 1¡±, etc.) that might help to clean the deck. ? -- Lincoln King-Cliby, CTS, DMC-E-4K/T/D ? Cisco SX80 not allowing more than one call
Hello All,
Has anyone seen an issue with an SX80 only allowing you to make one call and then having to reboot it before you can dial/make another call from the Crestron panel? You can still make calls using the touch 10 no problem.? We have updated firmware on the codec as well as rolled it back to see if that was the issue. I can't seem to find what the problem is.? Re: Time from an Analog
Thanks Guys!
Phil, yes an SG panel and that was what I was looking/hoping for. Formats just as I wanted...? I'm using the (cm) CountDown Timer module. When initially triggers, the analog populates as expected (xx:yy:zz), However, as the seconds count down (I see it decrementing in Debug) the display does not change. until I hit the STOP button on the CDTimer. At this point the display updates to the current time. If I send values in DBg directly,? the display updates. If I set up an Analog Increment with a 1d increment value, the Display counts as expected!! I put the CDT Analog thru ABUFs and even though the values change in DBg, the display doesn't until the Timer is stopped. ?Its as if the Display object knows that the Analog decrement is coming from the CDT vs. my manual triggers - this of course doesn't make any sense!! ? ?Any ideas??? TIA! |

Thank you?

Time from an Analog
Hi All,
I'm sure this is obvious, but my brain is a bit soft lately...:) I have an application where I have a 'countdown' analog signal representing time in seconds, where it is hours of time (1 hour = 3600d, 4 hours = 14400d). I need to display the countdown time on touchpanels in a readable form, preferably hours and minutes.? Anyone have a module or a simple technique to do this? |
