Digital Watchdog A1+ security NVR IR codes

Looking for these codes. I'd previous learned codes for the A1 (not plus)? but they appear not to work, unless we have a unit that's ignoring its IR. They no longer ship with a remote so it's harder to test. If anyone can confirm A1 codes work on an A1+ (which I would really expect), that would be helpful too.

Thx in advance

Re: Roomview Connected Displays and Flash

That's correct, you really only need the Flash interface to set the IPID on the device.

Re: Roomview Connected Displays and Flash

Jim Spencer

For clarity, flash retiring won't affect how these displays?communicate?with Crestron control - this conversation is about how to access AV gear's config webpages with a browser, correct? There's no part of a Crestron Connected Display that relies on Flash under the hood, is there??

The EXE decompresses Firefox into it's own folder that doesn't need to be installed on your computer. The browser will run from the folder. I then went to this link and downloaded Flash player 31.0.0.108 for portable browsers.?

Please note that this is an old outdated version of the flash player so you should only use Firefox Portable browser to connect to trusted AV equipment. NEVER use it to browse the web!?
?
Unzip the 2 files from the Fx64 folder in the zip file (you may need to use WinRAR) and copy them to the Data/plugins folder in your Firefox Portable folder. Launch Firefox Portable and type about:config in the address bar. Click the "Accept the Risk and Continue" button. Click the "Show All" button. Add a new preference called plugins.load_appdir_plugins and set it's value to true.?
?
Close and relaunch Firefox Portable. Type about:plugins in the address bar, you should see Shockwave Flash installed. When browsing to the Roomview setup page on your display you'll be prompted to activate the Flash plugin. You'll see warnings that the plugin is out of date and should be updated. You can ignore those :)

Hopefully this will continue to work in January. Just remember only use this browser to connect to AV equipment. YMMV - Use at your own risk!

Re: Polycom director

Edited

Where can I find the complete list of commands? I'm trying to control an Eagle Eye director 2 directly from a processor (no polycom codec). It's via LAN, no rs-232 port.

Get a 3.5mm stereo mini extension cable and cut the female end off of it.? Connect the tip to the signal terminal and the shield to the ground terminal.? Now you can get an IR emitter and just plug it in rather than cutting the end off of it and guessing which wire should be ground.? Or if you want to be extra Virgo about it you can buy a solder on female or use these

NM, just found it online. Will post in files.

NEC X554UNS - IP Protocol

Hello!

Does anyone have any information on IP control of the NEC Multisync X554UN/UNV/UNS?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Roomview Connected Displays and Flash

I asked our Panasonic rep, apparently Japan is working on it.

Re: Embedded Video Object - MJPEG/H.264

Try this:

Also means you don't have to set up a profile.
This works on TSW Embedded Video Control H.264
On iPad Crestron App (or Go) this needs to be set to MJPEG to work - don't know why!

Re: Please Help with IR Emitter output Pro 2 completely stumped and frustrated :)

As Steve said.
Either stick with Xantech or Crestron emitters. Years of trouble free service with those. I've had cheap Chinese emitters (supplied by others) fail.

Can I receive these strings, I have a similar issue

Re: Please Help with IR Emitter output Pro 2 completely stumped and frustrated :)

I have had issues with certain brands of IR flashers not working.? In particular, some flashers cannot handle the current that Crestron delivers.? They may work to begin with but eventually fail.??? I have had the best luck with Xantech IR flashers so I recommend you pick some of those up and give them a try,?

Cut off the plug or buy a socket that has bare wires to the pro2.? Cutting the plug is easier

Hi I have a Pro 2, from it via the Infrared serial output ports.? I had in slots A? DVD player, Slot B? PVR 2, Slot E PVR 1, Slot F? Sony Receiver, and finally Slot H a 4K player.

They were all hooked up via IR emitters with an eye without any issues.? Suddenly unexplained the control of PVR 1 ( Slot E) over the last few days began to lose control.??

Here are the steps I tried to diagnose and fix problems.

1. Un plug from 8 slot Phoenix connector the PVR 1 and reconnect
2.? Switch IR emitters from work components previously to PVR 1? ?
3.? Used 2 and 4 port Phoenix connectors
4.? Swapped out PVR with tested working one? from other room in house and still not working except with actual PVR remote pointed at it
5. Unplugged Pro 2
6.? Did Hardware reset on Pro 2
7.? Swapped out every possible combinations of different emitters I thought were working.

Basically I have tried everything possible over the last 20 hours and still no luck some minor control but wont load guide, change channels very fast etc...

However now after trying to hook up 4K player and Sony receiver now how they were hooked up before now they have no control either.? I am at my end for new ideas.? Here are my questions now

1.? Is it possible with all the swapping out of emitters all cables could of failed now?
2.? Could it be the Serial output 8 port slot in Pro 2 that has disconnected or failed since aI removed plug so many times?
3.? Do you have to use a Crestron IRP2 infrared Emitter exclusively, I have not idea if these are Crestron to me they our third party but not sure?
4.? I have a lot of ER emitters I can try out from previous equipment components but they all end in a 3.5 plug?? Any way to make these work?
5.? If it is emitters where I can I buy third party emitters as unable to get official Crestron parts locally, can buy online but long shipping time and prices quite inflated on some sites.
6. Is it recommended to have black tape over emitter or not to have code or signal send to player?

Lastly any other help or tips or ideas to help gain back control of three components greatly appreciated as the more I trouble shoot the more I am breaking things? AHHHHH:)

Thank You

Re: Embedded Video Object - MJPEG/H.264

Hi Heather, were you ever able to confirm MJPEG url structure for the Axis cams???

This format (that you previously posted) works in a web-browser but I'm not getting a picture on TSW panels with it:
?/streamprofile=profilename
